Burial insurance, also referred to as final expense or funeral insurance, is a type of permanent whole life insurance. Different from traditional life insurance payouts that replace an individual’s income, burial insurance is meant to cover the costs associated with the policyholder’s funeral and/or burial expenses.

Beneficiaries can use the policy’s payout for any expenses necessary including outstanding debt and medical expenses of the policy holder. Generally this type of policy is issued to people ages 50-85 and typically covers anywhere from $5,000-$25,000.

Full coverage upon approval, economical premiums, you may qualify for this most flexible plan if you are in good or excellent health.

Full coverage after two years (partial coverage within two years), midpoint premiums, generally this plan is for clients with past health concerns or have a specific health issue that is chronic or recent.

Full coverage after two years (partial coverage within two years). Very similar to a graded plan but with a different, typically less favorable, payout structure during the first two years.

Full coverage after two years (partial coverage within two years), highest premium payments, guaranteed approval. This product is usually reserved for clients with severe health issues.
